Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions and answers
How accurate are the admission probability calculations?
Our calculations are based on historical cutoff data and statistical models. While we strive for accuracy, actual admission decisions depend on many factors including competition, quotas, and institutional policies. Use the probabilities as a guide, not a guarantee.
How do I add programs to my watchlist?
You can add programs to your watchlist from the program detail page, search results, or recommendations. Click the "Add to Watchlist" button or use the bulk add feature on the watchlist page.
Can I compare more than 5 programs?
Currently, you can compare up to 5 programs at once. This limit helps keep the comparison table readable and manageable. You can create multiple comparisons for different sets of programs.
How do I export my watchlist?
On the watchlist page, click the "Export CSV" button. This will download a CSV file with all your watchlist items, including program details, priority, notes, and deadlines. You can open this file in Excel or Google Sheets.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes, your personal data, watchlist, and notes are private and only visible to you. We use secure authentication and follow best practices for data protection. Your watchlist notes are stored securely and never shared.
How often is the data updated?
We regularly update our database with the latest information from institutions and accreditation bodies. However, admission requirements and cutoffs can change, so always verify with the institution directly before applying.
