*2026 JAMB Policy Meeting Key Highlights*

Please share with any 2026 JAMB candidate. Changes to Admission Requirements for Education & Agriculture Programs

· Candidates applying for Education programs and non-Engineering Agriculture courses are no longer required to take the UTME. · Example: Choosing Biology at a College of Education leads to an NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education), not a degree. · After completing the 3-year NCE program, candidates can then decide to progress for a B.Ed degree at a university.

Note: Individual institutions may set their own minimum scores higher than these minimum tolerable admissible scores.

*Admission Acceptance Timeline* · Candidates have a maximum of 4 weeks to accept or decline an admission offer. · Failure to respond within this period leads to automatic termination of the admission.

*Admission Closing Dates (2026)* · Public Universities: October 31st, 2026 · Private Universities: November 30th, 2026 · Polytechnics & Colleges: December 31st, 2026
